Why did you join AALLc?
I'm bad at networking, and joining AALLc was an easy thing that even I could do!

What do you do as a law librarian?

I work in the reference department at an academic law library.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The detective work to chase down an elusive answer, and if the answer is particularly interesting, learning new legal trivia to share at the dinner table after work.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Sleeping. My daughter's first birthday is at the end of the summer, so I hope there's more of it in my future as she enters the toddler stage.

What is your favorite travel destination (Asia or otherwise!)?

It depends on what I'm in the mood to eat. I would follow the food (e.g., pan-fried soup dumplings in Shanghai, döner kebab in Berlin, gelato in Rome, bagels in Montreal).

What’s your favorite law-related book and why?

For entailment and property law, Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility is pretty useful!
