We will start our day with a Keynote address by Melanie D. Heller, Esq., Vice-President & General Manager, Bloomberg BNA.

This empirical study will overview the search algorithms of six legal databases and six groups of humans to solve the same research puzzle.

A Google Analytics Primer: Best Practices & How-Use at your Library with Sarah Lin, David Holt & moderator Hadi Amjadi

Google Analytics, a free software will be discussed by two librarians from academic & private law firm on how their libraries use the software & decisions made, based on data-driven results.

Hidden Jewels: Business, Science and Technology Resources at the San Francisco Public Library, by Lia Hillman

Participants will learn about resources that can add value to research at no cost, with nothing more than a Library card, available to all residents of California.

How Digital Design Innovations Can Improve Delivery of Legal Services, by Nikki Ziechner

Ms. Ziechner is one of ABA’s 2015 “Legal Rebels.” She  will use examples from her work at Code for America

  

Final presentation of the day will be 2:50-3:30 PM

To wrap-up the day, Professor Tim Iglesias explains mindfulness in our work places & leads us in a mindfulness session.
