National Agricultural Law Center
The Center’s section on Animal Welfare provides extensive links to Federal statutes and regulations agricultural animals. Links are provided to a case law index, Congressional Research Service Reports on animal agriculture and environmental issues, and an agricultural law bibliography.
Official California Legislative Information
The official site for California legislative information. The site is maintained by the Legislative Counsel of California, the nonpartisan public agency that drafts legislative proposals. The web site’s bill information is updated nightly after the Legislature has completed its work for the day. The link California Law takes you to the California Codes, and the link Statutes (Chaptered Bills), gives you access to statutes from 1993 forward, by keyword, chapter number or chapter year.
Open CRS: Congressional Research Reports for the People
The Congressional Research Service is an arm of the Library of Congress devoted to providing for Congress research and analysis on legislative issues. CRS analysts meet with Congressional members and staffers, and they compile reports and issue briefs for them. Open CRS is a project of the Center for Democracy & Technology that serves as a centralized location to learn about the Congressional Research Service and search for CRS reports that have been released to the public by members of Congress.
