Legal Information Librarian & Lecturer in Law

Why did you join AALLc?
I started to attend AALL’s annual meeting as a library school student in July 2012. AALLc was the first AALL group that I had contact with. Our caucus members’ warmth, enthusiasm, and interest in helping others really struck a chord with me. I have remained as a loyal member ever since. In addition to having wonderful members, AALLc also organizes a business luncheon with delicious Asian food every year at AALL—how can I resist the temptation?
What do you do as a law librarian?
I am a Legal Information Librarian & Lecturer in Law at Boston College Law Library. I teach both Advanced Legal Research and International Legal Research classes. I provide reference and research services to members of the law school. I also serve as a specialist in foreign, international and comparative law—acting as a liaison to faculty and students with an interest in these areas.

Being a law librarian gives me the opportunity to continue to grow in the process of helping others.

Anything that does not involve a phone or a computer.
What is your favorite travel destination (Asia or otherwise!)?
Shanghai—my hometown!
What’s your favorite law-related movie and why?
12 Angry Men! Because I was once a juror myself!
